MESSAGE once a month

2005/07

　 In traveling all over the world, what I research always is the “climate” of the country I plan to visit.
Very few countries in the world have the clear four seasons, which we take for granted in Japan.
　There is the luxurious happiness that we make light of what shows the sense of seasons because
of the advance of civilization, and also the reverse…
　The rainy season (tsuyu) sets in, is over soon and the hot season arrives, then shifting to early autumn…
I am brimming over with thanks for the luckiness that I was born where I can feel those blessings of nature.

　Dignity as a nation is supported by the people’s feelings that they belong to the great nation,
and it gains the power from them. When the natural features that we must inherit the greatness
of the ancestors and continue the glory of them, dignity as a nation rises high.
