MESSAGE once a month

2005/02
Bermuda was a small beautiful country where we can get a view of the sea easily from almost all the spots in the town, also it was warm and chilly like early spring. In the country, rainwater is the very important water resource, since there is no river or lake. Every roof in the country was covered with plaster-like white substance, so that helps collect rainwater into the private water tank. Pretty houses with the various pastel-colored walls were unified with the white roofs, which was aesthetically excellent looked better in the green of tropical plants. It seemed as if it had been a scene in an illustrated book.

One of the purposes of this trip was to see a wild tulip. However, they said gA wild tulip hasnft even existed ever.h after all my long-standing dream of meeting a wild tulip had gone. So I left Bermuda with a sense of disappointment. Ifm fired up for the next time researching more precisely to look for it by myself! In the country where they have no snow or frost, flowers bloom throughout the year. Familiar flowers like salvia, marigold, impatiens, pansy and so on were blooming over there, yet, what moved me deeply was the freshness wild flowers had. Having searched for a wild tulip, met many people, got a kind reception and warm hospitality of all the people I met, I went back to New York in the severe cold.

In this month, all of you are going to use the same number of flowers in class.

Please arrange flowers with modesty to find value in any part of them, with loving heart and hand. Cherish the life given equally to every single flower.
