MESSAGE once a month
September, 2003
In August I experienced a major blackout in New York.
We are finished when once something happens in daily life filled with modern conveniences. The incident again told me that strength and patience is the most necessary thing for survival after all.
I recommend you add a small flashlight to your baggage in traveling, and also how about trying to use the stairs more often, not an escalator? Nobody knows what may happen tomorrow...
It might be rough to say that, and yet the ability to feel happiness is developed only in unhappiness. Someone who has not had a hard time is not thankful that everything goes well for him. He cannot link the fact with a feeling of happiness at all.
